Dean Ambrose thwarts Seth Rollins: Raw, July 7, 2014

Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins Should Eventually Feud for WWE Title
In professional wrestling, when you can have a match on a TV taping that makes everyone completely forget about what happened on pay-per-view the night before, you know you have a pretty special rivalry on your hands.
Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins stole the show at WWE Battleground without even stepping into the ring, and they backed that up atSummerSlam with a fantastic match. In fact, it was without doubt the match of the night, and it cemented the two as the hottest stars inWWE right now. It seemed like they couldn't get any hotter in terms of certified WWE stars.
But the following night on Raw, the duo delivered the most incredible Falls Count Anywhere match for the viewing public, and it will finally make everyone realize that this isn't just your average WWE rivalry. This is serious stuff, and it has the potential to run for months and months.

With Brock Lesnar as WWE World Heavyweight Champion, there was always a danger that the title could fall down the pecking order in terms of significance. But people assumed that would be the case due to him being more inactive than your everyday champion, not because two guys were simply stealing the show each and every time they stepped into the ring.
Ambrose and Rollins have this unique blend of chemistry that separates them from everyone else in the WWE at the moment. And the WWE should be planning for this to run to such an extent that it becomes the company's championship feud for the foreseeable future.
The rivalry has it all. It's simply not just about what goes on inside the ring. Take their little segment on Raw the night after SummerSlam, where Ambrose drenched Rollins with an ice bucket before launching into his now-trademark assault. WWE fans are that into this feud that they would have been quite happy with just that for the evening, but what followed was even more incredible.
When Jerry Lawler announced the match would be Falls Count Anywhere, you just knew we were in for an instant classic. There were some incredible spots, not least the moment where Rollins slammed Ambrose onto a pile of chairs laid in the middle of the ring.
That seemed to flick a switch inside the mind of Ambrose, who from then on was on a one-man mission to entertain the crowd. CM Punk once referred to Ambrose as the "secret weapon" of The Shield, and it turns out he may have been right all along.
Many assume this rivalry will probably end with Rollins putting his Money in the Bank briefcase on the line in a match against Ambrose. However, what if the WWE had Rollins cash in on a vulnerable champion, and let Ambrose carry the can as the main event star he is destined to be?
It would arguably be the most encapsulating WWE title feud since CM Punk's "will he, won't he" feud with John Cena back in 2011. Every rivalry in the WWE has to come to an end at some point, but this one is a perfect example of a feud that fans want to keep going indefinitely. And whilst that obviously won't happen, we could see Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins for a good six months yet.
