Brazilian star Ronaldinho in talks with ISL's Chennai Titans: report

The Indian Super League (ISL) franchise Chennai Titans are in talks to bring on board the star Brazilian striker and former FIFA World Player of the Year, Ronaldinho. According to a report in The Hindu, the Brazilian superstar has been approached by the Chennai team.
The player's brother, Roberto de Assis, who is also his agent, is negotiating the terms of the contract. If progress is made, he will arrive in India with Ronaldinho to finalise the deal, the source said.
The Titans - which was represented by Bolywood star Abhishek Bachchan at the ISL's official launch function in Mumbai on Thursday - are looking to sign Ronaldinho for a period of two years. The Brazilian superstar is keen on a short-term contract, which is likely to work in Titans' favour.

An ISL stint will allow Ronaldinho to play for a Major League Soccer side in the USA early next year, which is his desire. In the previous decade, the dazzling attacker was one of the most recognised faces in world football and has played for big clubs like Barcelona and AC Milan in the past.
